Daily responsibilities include caring for cats, dogs and pocket pets who are boarding or staying in the hospital. Patient care includes feeding, walking, cleaning and giving medications. Additional responsibilities include laundry, general hospital cleaning and maintenance, assisting our nurses, giving baths and other general tasks.
All applicants must be energetic, compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work as part of a team. A pleasant demeanor and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to the function of our team.
Some weekends and holidays are required for this position. Applicants must also love to work with animals and not mind getting a little dirty or handling less than pleasant things!
